Chittrovanu Mazumdar, 1×1 Art Gallery

With its presence across India, the UAE, Europe and the United States, Flint was engaged by 1×1 Art Gallery in Dubai to promote contemporary Indian artist Chittrovanu Mazumdar.

The campaign opened with Mazumdar’s major installation at the 2016 Kochi Muziris Biennale. Flint set up a range of direct interviews, news items and cultural roundups, and harnessed the presence of international journalists at the Biennale to generate maximum promotional impact through social media as well as print. Flint arranged further interviews and features to promote exhibitions at India Art Fair 2017 and Art Dubai 2017, before the campaign focus shifted to the United States in preparation for Mazumdar’s retrospective at Mana Contemporary, New Jersey.

The campaign raised the artist’s profile with a range of audiences across the globe, while emphasising the role of 1×1 Gallery as a champion of contemporary Indian artists in the Middle East and beyond, with a gallery space in Dubai as well as a comprehensive international programme.

Coverage generated 7,477,442 opportunities to view in print and 122,012,790 opportunities to view online, with a combined reach of over 129,490,232, connecting the gallery with new audiences and new collectors.
