Working with arts consultancy Grandy Art Ltd, Flint were engaged to facilitate a broader consumer awareness and media profile for installation artist Nick Jeffrey beyond traditional gallery exhibitions.

To this end, an artist-in-residency initiative secured at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel, was able to provide a platform to instigate a range of promotional and selling opportunities for both the artist and the hotel. Artist exhibitions were curated and displayed in the hotel foyer and award-winning Theo Randall restaurant, as well as site-specific installations in the members’ bar and some of the more exclusive hotel suites. This resulted in high-profile sales to hotel guests including Roger Federer and Tina Turner, bringing media opportunities for the hotel and celebratory endorsement for the artist.

Significant media exposure was secured through a range of hi-profile journalist lunches and on-site interviews, including The Art Newspaper, Easy Living Magazine and The Financial Times. In addition, Flint was able to directly generate further sales through targeted events, such as a business networking reception with the city group ‘Young Professionals’, serving to bring valuable new custom to the InterContinental as well as Nick Jeffrey and GrandyArt Ltd.

The hotel residency was followed by a sell-out solo-exhibition at Sladmore Contemporary and a further residency at the Hospital Club in Covent Garden.
